A major institution of New Leaf Charitable and Educational Trust is Special school for differently abled children. Mr. Habeeb Rahman as coordinator (Award winner of the year 2021for the best private employee in Kerala by Government of Kerala) and Mr. Rafiq as manager. The Co-Ordinator himself is an inspiration and motivation for the students there, He is an 80% physically disabled person with tremendous mental abilities.
Started with 23 students in a rental home and now in 2023 with 76 students in our own building.
Admission is for autistic, mentally retarded, handicapped, blind or learning-disabled children. Highlight of this institution is that all facilities here are free. No fee collected from students. They are provided with skill-based education, transportation, physiotherapy, speech therapy and food.
10 staffs are altogether appointed for our Special Students. The trainers are well qualified and experienced.
Achievements of the institution are a team for floor ball competition for differently abled, Nisar a student, who got selection in the Indian team of football and floor ball .8 of our students could lead a normal life, 2 of them got driving license.
Our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said that “Whoever removes difficulties in people’s lives in this world, God will remove his or her difficulties in the hereafter”. And that is what we follow.
